Turning Coverage Gaps into Growth Opportunities

When a broker refers a client to a county without network coverage, the system doesn’t fail silently. Instead, it creates a Network Request—a broadcast to the entire broker network asking: “Do you know a broker in this area?”

This transforms what could be a dead end into a growth opportunity. Every uncovered county becomes a chance to expand the network through the collective knowledge of existing partners.

How Network Requests Work

When you send a referral and select a county without an active broker:

  1. Your referral is recorded with all client details preserved
  2. A Network Request is created and broadcast to all brokers
  3. The HURE team is notified to begin professional research
  4. Other brokers can suggest contacts they know in that area

The client isn’t lost—they’re queued while the network works together to find them the right help.

The Network Requests Dashboard

Your Network Requests page shows everything at a glance:

Summary Cards at the top display:

  • Open Requests — counties still seeking broker coverage
  • Pending Suggestions — broker contacts awaiting follow-up
  • Fulfilled — requests where a broker has been identified
  • Closed — completed or expired requests

Filter Buttons let you focus on what matters—open requests need attention, fulfilled requests show success stories.

Request Cards show each uncovered county with:

  • County and state
  • Client name (the relocating family)
  • Who posted the request
  • How many suggestions have been submitted
  • Current status

Suggesting a Broker Contact

When you see a county where you know someone, click “View Details & Suggestions” and then “I Know a Broker in This Area.”

The suggestion form asks for:

  • Broker Name — who you’re recommending
  • Email — how they can be reached
  • Phone — optional contact number
  • Brokerage — their company name
  • Notes — how do you know them? This context helps the HURE team when they reach out

Your professional network becomes the network’s professional network.

Privacy by Design

The system respects information boundaries:

Request Owners see full client details (name, email, phone, notes) so they can follow up once a broker is found.

Other Brokers see only the county and client name—enough to know if they can help, but not enough to bypass the referral relationship.

Suggestions show the contact info for potential brokers, visible to everyone so the community can provide additional context.

The Suggestion Workflow

When you submit a suggestion:

  1. It appears as “pending” on the request
  2. The request owner is notified
  3. They can mark it as “contacted” when they reach out
  4. If the broker is invited to join, it’s marked “invited”
  5. When they join the network, it becomes “joined”
  6. The request is fulfilled and the coverage gap is closed

Why This Matters

Real estate is a relationship business. Brokers know other brokers—from conferences, from transactions, from professional associations. That collective knowledge is immensely valuable.

Instead of letting a coverage gap stop a referral, the network pooled together can often identify the right person faster than any research team working alone.

The Growth Flywheel

This creates a virtuous cycle:

  1. Client inquiry reveals a coverage gap
  2. Network request activates collective knowledge
  3. Broker suggestion identifies a candidate
  4. HURE outreach invites them to join
  5. New partner fills the coverage gap
  6. Future referrals flow smoothly

Every uncovered referral is a lead for network development. The system turns a limitation into a growth engine.

Dual-Channel Coverage

Network Requests work alongside the HURE team:

Broker Suggestions leverage personal relationships and industry knowledge. You know who’s good, who’s trustworthy, who handles relocations well.

HURE Research provides systematic coverage—finding licensed brokers, researching their reputation, conducting professional outreach.

Together, they maximize the chances of finding the right partner for every county.

Your Network, Growing

When you suggest a broker who joins the network, you’re not just helping one client. You’re:

  • Expanding coverage for future families
  • Strengthening the network’s value proposition
  • Building relationships with new partners
  • Contributing to a collaborative community

The network grows stronger with every suggestion, and you’re part of making that happen.
